Microsoft's Latest Android Wear App Tries Your Finger For Smartwatch Typing

Microsoft Research,a solution for text entry on small screens have SmartWatch and try to use the Google Android platform Wear to try it out.The company has an application for the Android keyboard to developed analog Wear let the words user string together draw each letter on the screen.If you download ADB on side loading applications,ie,the same trick with which you can run Windows 95 on a Smart Watch from the Microsoft Web site and install the keyboard activate allowed.


Microsoft says its solution offers several advantages over other text input methods-a potential difference of a software keyboard,not ultra-fine motor skills require handwriting,and allows users without view of the touch screen.And compared with speech to text,handwriting is subtle and less susceptible to background noise.

However,the current implementation has some limitations due to the required computational effort.Currently,you can not say,uppercase and lowercase letters,and running into problems with responsiveness.It also tends to be a pig battery.In the future, Microsoft hopes to alleviate these problems by offloading some computation on a smartphone or associated cloud.

Why This Matters

Even with Microsoft's approach,the idea of writing an entire text message on a SmartWatch seems kind of nightmare.However,the keyboard could be useful as an editing tool users to clean all the words that stand bad voice to text.While there are no plans to release the keyboard as a finished product,with enough paint,it might be a good option for Microsoft OneNote existing Android App wear yours.
